The WX1 work jacket is a quilted, two-tone winter jacket designed for anyone working outdoors or in workshops under cold and demanding conditions. Its contrast colourway pairs neatly with the WX1 trouser range and the wider Portwest collection, making it a solid choice for uniform dressing and personalisation as well.
The outer fabric is 100% cotton, chosen for its strength and resistance to pilling while still allowing the jacket to breathe. The fabric is shrink-resistant and holds its shape wash after wash, giving the jacket real staying power on the job. Inside, a fully padded lining traps warmth and keeps the cold out, while pre-shaped elbows help maintain freedom of movement.
Reflective piping on the back vent boosts visibility in low-light conditions, adding a practical safety element to the design. Day-to-day usability comes from six pockets, including two hook-and-loop chest pockets, a pen pocket and a zipped pocket, giving plenty of room for tools and personal items. Hook-and-loop cuff fastenings and elasticated side panels ensure a comfortable, secure fit, and since the jacket is non-magnetic and free of nickel and iron, it has no exposed metal parts.
