The WX1 cotton work jacket is built for anyone who wants lightweight, hard-wearing workwear without sacrificing comfort on the job. Its two-tone design coordinates with the WX1 trouser range as well as the wider Portwest collection, making it a practical choice for teams that need a consistent, personalised look.
Made from 100% cotton fabric with a pre-shrunk finish, the jacket keeps its shape wash after wash while staying soft and breathable against the skin. The cotton construction is chosen for its strength and resistance to pilling, so the jacket holds up well under regular wear. A vented back yoke with air channels improves airflow on warmer days, and a weather flap at the front helps keep out wind and rain. With no exposed metal parts, the jacket is also non-magnetic and free of nickel and iron.
The layout is genuinely practical: six pockets, including a zipped chest pocket, two hook-and-loop chest pockets and a dedicated pen pocket, give you plenty of room for tools and small items, backed up by two zipped side pockets for secure storage. Hook-and-loop cuff tabs and an elasticated side waist keep the fit snug and comfortable, while pre-shaped elbows allow for freer movement. Reflective piping on the back vents boosts visibility in low light, and bar-tacking at every stress point means the jacket is reinforced where it matters most for daily use.
