The ToolRig™ high vis work trousers from Blåkläder are built for anyone who switches between tasks fast and needs to stay visible while doing it – from tradespeople to road and construction workers. At the heart of the design is the ToolRig™ system: a belt runs a full 360 degrees around the waist, letting you slide, remove and swap tool pockets and the hammer holder without ever taking the trousers off. Loops for ToolRig™ braces or a harness add ergonomic support when carrying heavier gear.
The main fabric is a double-woven 4-way stretch material made from 100% polyester at 260 g/m², moving with the body instead of against it, even when kneeling or bending repeatedly. Breathable mesh inserts at the knees and back yoke keep air flowing during strenuous work, while CORDURA® reinforcements on the pockets and knee-pad pockets add durability exactly where the trousers take the most wear. Pre-shaped legs and a raised back waist give extra freedom of movement, particularly useful for anyone who kneels or crouches often on the job.
For visibility on site or near traffic, the trousers are certified to EN ISO 20471 Class 1 and belong to warning clothing certification group W for lower body garments, meaning they meet the requirements for high-visibility clothing in situations calling for extra conspicuity. A segmented reflective band around the legs reinforces this, especially in low light or at dusk. Combined with certain knee pads, the trousers also meet the EN 14404-3 requirements for knee protection during kneeling work.
With generous, swappable tool pockets, a reinforced ruler pocket with knife holder, and sturdy CORDURA®-backed knee-pad pockets, these trousers suit tradespeople and construction workers who move constantly between tasks, tools and kneeling work throughout the day.
