The Stronghand® Santiago sleeve protector guards the forearms in situations where gloves alone are not enough. At roughly 45 cm long, it covers the area between wrist and elbow, making it a practical choice for tasks where cut or heat hazards extend beyond the hands. A thumb hole keeps the sleeve securely in place during work, and the universal size fits most wearers without adjustment.
Made from polyamide with added glass fibre and elastane, the sleeve is both tough and comfortable to wear. The fabric is breathable, so heat doesn't build up against the skin, and the elastane content keeps it flexible without restricting movement. Since the sleeve can be worn on either arm, there's no need to distinguish left from right, which simplifies handling on site and speeds up stock rotation in busy workplaces.
The sleeve is tested to EN 388 and EN 407. Its cut resistance reaches Level D under EN ISO 13997, offering reliable protection against sharp edges and blades. Heat protection is rated Level 1 for contact heat under EN 407, covering brief contact with hot surfaces. This combination makes the Santiago well suited to metalworking, welding tasks and other trades where arms face both sharp and hot hazards alongside the hands.
