The Stronghand® VS 53 is a welding glove made from natural-coloured cowhide, built for work where hands and forearms face both mechanical stress and heat exposure. With a length of around 35 cm, the gauntlet cuff extends well beyond the wrist, offering coverage that goes beyond a standard work glove. Available in size 10.5, it is supplied as bulk workwear in units of 60 pairs.
The palm is made from full-grain cowhide, while the back of the hand and cuff are crafted from split leather. This combination keeps the glove grippy and durable in the areas that take the most punishment, while still allowing enough flexibility for detailed handwork. Piped seams protect the stitching from sparks and mechanical wear, meaningfully extending the glove's working life on site or in the workshop. The added wrist protection shields the vulnerable transition between glove and forearm.
The VS 53 is tested to EN 388, the standard covering mechanical risks such as abrasion, cut, tear and puncture, and additionally meets EN 12477 Type A for welding gloves. This type indicates a higher level of protection combined with good dexterity, exactly what welding with direct spark exposure demands.
That makes the glove well suited for welders, metalworkers and fitters, as well as anyone working in workshops or on construction sites where heat, sparks and sharp-edged materials are part of the job. With a minimum order of 12 pairs, it is also a practical choice for companies that need to keep staff regularly equipped with spares.
