The Stronghand® Farnham is a long nitrile safety glove built for tasks where hands need protection from both cuts and chemicals at the same time. At roughly 30 cm in length, it extends well past the wrist, making it suitable for work where the forearm is also at risk. The seamless fine-knit liner, made from HPPE, polyester, glass and steel fibre, nylon and elastane, gives it a snug fit while still allowing enough dexterity for detailed handwork.
The coating is applied in two layers: a blue nitrile base topped with a black nitrile foam finish. This double coating gives the glove strong mechanical durability, while the foam surface provides a secure grip even when parts or tools are covered in oil or grease. At a material thickness of about 1.7 mm, the glove stays robust without losing the flexibility needed for finer tasks.
On the protection side, the Farnham covers several bases at once. It is tested to EN 388:2016+A1:2018 for mechanical hazards, with cut resistance reaching the high Level F under EN ISO 13997. EN 407 adds Level 1 contact heat protection, useful when handling mildly warm surfaces. For chemical exposure, it is certified to EN ISO 374-1 and EN ISO 374-5 and tested against a specific list of substances, including n-heptane, sodium hydroxide, sulphuric acid, nitric acid, acetic acid and ammonia solution. This combination of cut, heat and chemical resistance makes it a versatile choice for demanding industrial work.
Sold as bulk packaging with a minimum order of 12 pairs, the Farnham is aimed primarily at professional buyers, for example in metalworking, recycling or the chemical industry, where cut hazards and contact with aggressive substances often occur together.
