The Stronghand® Classic Vancouver is a long nitrile glove designed for tasks where hands and forearms need protection from chemicals, moisture and contamination. At roughly 31 cm in length, it extends well beyond the wrist, making it a good choice for work that involves reaching deep into liquids or facing splashes on the forearm.
The green nitrile shell is approximately 0.38 mm thick and offers a comfortable, flexible feel, with a velour lining inside that makes the glove easier to put on and more comfortable to wear over longer periods. The diamond-textured exterior provides a secure grip on wet or oily objects, while the high abrasion resistance keeps the glove durable even under mechanically demanding conditions. Production is silicone-free, which matters in paint and surface finishing work where silicone residue on workpieces has to be avoided.
Tested to EN 388:2016+A1:2018, the glove withstands mechanical risks such as abrasion and cutting, while EN ISO 374-1:2016+A1:2018 confirms protection against chemical permeation and EN ISO 374-5:2016 adds resistance to viruses. The range of tested chemicals spans from methanol and sodium hydroxide to sulphuric and nitric acid, covering a broad spectrum of alkalis and acids. Compliance with ISO 18889 (G2) also qualifies the glove for handling diluted and concentrated pesticides, making it relevant for agricultural and plant protection work.
Being food-safe, the Vancouver is suitable for food processing environments, while its chemical and virus resistance also make it a practical choice for laboratories, cleaning work, agriculture and industrial processes involving aggressive substances. It is supplied in pairs in a polybag with euro-slot hole, with a minimum order quantity of 12 pairs, making it a practical option for regular business use.
