This softshell jacket from Blaklader is built for anyone working outdoors or moving between indoor and outdoor settings in changeable weather, from tradespeople and gardeners to drivers, installers and cleaning staff. It is a lightweight jacket that keeps out wind and rain without restricting movement, thanks to pre-shaped sleeves and an extended back that keep it in place even when reaching up or bending forward.
The two-layer softshell fabric is made from 100% polyester with a ripstop weave and a sealed finish, weighing 255 g/m². In practice that means a tough, tear-resistant material that reliably blocks wind, rain and cold while still letting moisture escape from the inside. The fleece-lined collar, together with the chin guard at the zip, adds extra protection around the neck and chin. Adjustable cuffs with hook-and-loop fastening and a drawcord at the hem let you fine-tune the fit in any weather. The fabric also meets Oeko-Tex Standard 100, so it has been tested for harmful substances.
Practical storage comes courtesy of a zipped chest pocket, zipped front pockets and additional inner pockets, keeping tools, phone and personal items secure and within easy reach. The jacket itself is unlined, making it a flexible mid-season layer or a useful addition to a layering system for cooler and warmer days alike. Available in seven colour combinations and sizes XS to 4XL, it is easy to fit out an entire team.
