The S460 Winter Hi-Vis Traffic Jacket is built for anyone who has to work outdoors through cold, wet and low-light conditions. With a drawcord hood, a storm flap secured by press studs and several patch pockets, it is designed around the realities of roadwork, construction and rail sites rather than being a generic winter coat.
The taped seams work together with the PFAS-free Texpel™ Splash Eco fabric treatment to make water bead off the surface instead of soaking in, which keeps you dry through long shifts outside. Quilted lining and an inner knit cuff trap warmth where it matters, while the hook-and-loop cuff fastenings keep sleeves secure even over gloves. Four pockets, including a concealed phone pocket and an inner chest pocket, give you room for tools and personal items, and the two-way zip makes putting the jacket on and off quick even with bulky gloves.
On the protection side, EN342 confirms cold protection down to -36°C, EN ISO 20471 remains valid after 50 washes thanks to the reflective tape, and the jacket carries CE certification. The fabric is also rated UPF 40+, blocking 98% of UV rays, useful for outdoor work beyond the winter months. In orange, the jacket additionally meets RIS 3279-TOM requirements for the rail industry.
This makes the S460 a strong fit for road and civil engineering crews, rail maintenance teams and anyone else who needs weather protection, cold insulation and visibility in one garment. Available in orange and yellow, and in sizes from XS to 6XL, it covers a wide range of body types.
