The Rotdorn pilot jacket is a versatile workwear piece for anyone who needs different levels of protection depending on the weather and the task at hand. Thanks to its 4-in-1 design, both the collar and the sleeves can be removed, and the pile lining can be taken out entirely as well. This turns one jacket into a lighter vest or a simple transitional layer in seconds, without needing to buy separate garments. A button placket on the collar also allows a hood, available separately, to be attached.
The outer fabric, a blend of cotton and polyester at around 250 g/m², keeps the jacket sturdy without feeling heavy on the body. The water-repellent coating shields against light rain and moisture, while the ribbed cuffs at the sleeves and hem seal the jacket close to the body and keep draughts out. The two-way front zip lets the jacket be opened from the top or the bottom, which comes in handy when sitting down or working in a bent position.
With seven pockets in total, including two chest pockets, a phone pocket, two hip pockets, a sleeve pocket and an inner pocket, the jacket offers plenty of room for tools, a phone and personal items. Combined with its swap-out components and the forest green and orange colourway, the Rotdorn is a practical choice for outdoor work such as landscaping, construction sites or warehouse and logistics roles, anywhere conditions and temperatures shift throughout the day.
