The PW3 Hi-Vis Rain Jacket is built for anyone working outdoors in wind and rain who needs to stay dry and visible throughout the shift. Whether on construction sites, road works or rail projects, this jacket from the PW3 collection is designed for long days in harsh conditions while still feeling genuinely comfortable to wear, not just protective on paper.
The 3-layer Portwest Extreme Stretch fabric is waterproof, windproof and breathable at the same time, with taped seams that keep water from getting in at the seams. The PFAS-free Texpel finish makes water bead off the surface instead of soaking through. Thanks to the Acti-Reach construction and stretch panels placed at key movement zones, the jacket stays flexible during overhead work, reaching and turning, which is exactly what separates a stiff rain shell from real workwear. Raglan sleeves, pre-shaped elbows and adjustable cuffs with hook-and-loop fastening round off a fit that stays secure and comfortable all day.
The jacket is certified to EN343 Class 4:4, the highest class in this standard for waterproofing and breathability, confirming it holds up under continuous rain and hard physical work. It also keeps its EN ISO 20471 hi-vis certification after 25 washes, and in orange it meets the RIS-3279-TOM requirements for the rail industry. The UPF 40+ rated fabric blocks 98% of UV rays, a welcome extra for anyone working outdoors in strong sun.
Practical features such as the helmet-compatible detachable hood, radio loop, ID card holder and harness-compatible pockets show this jacket was built for professional use across construction, traffic management, logistics and rail work.
