The PW3 hi-vis winter jacket is a warning-protection jacket cut specifically for women, built for anyone working outdoors in wind, rain and cold who still needs to stay clearly visible. The tailored fit, with raglan sleeves and pre-shaped elbows, means the jacket moves with you rather than against you when reaching, bending or working at height.
The Portwest Extreme stretch soft-touch fabric is both waterproof and windproof, and the Acti-Reach construction with stretch panels across key movement zones keeps the jacket flexible rather than restrictive. Insulatex Pro insulation traps body heat without adding bulk, the PFAS-free Texpel finish makes water bead off the surface, and taped seams stop moisture getting in at the stitching. In practice, that means staying warm and dry without feeling weighed down or held back.
Certified to EN343 class 4:1, the jacket offers a high level of protection against rain and wind. Certification to EN ISO 20471 is maintained after 50 washes, so the hi-vis performance holds up over the working life of the garment, backed further by heat-resistant, flame-retardant reflective tape. The fabric also carries a 40+ UPF rating, blocking 98% of UV rays.
With five pockets, including a waterproof zipped chest pocket, an internal phone pocket and an ID card holder, plus a radio mic loop, the jacket is built around the practical needs of women working in construction, traffic management, logistics or on the railway. The orange/black colourway also meets RIS 3279-TOM requirements for the rail industry, while the detachable, helmet-compatible hood keeps the jacket useful even when worn with additional PPE.
