Product information "PU Boot Otra S5"
The Otra PU boot is a safety rubber boot built for anyone who needs a tough yet lightweight companion on construction sites, in agriculture, or in cold and wet working environments. Its ergonomic shaft shape and heel pull-on aid make it noticeably easier to put on and take off than conventional models.
Both the shaft and sole are made entirely of polyurethane, which is around 25% lighter than rubber or PVC. This difference is especially noticeable during long shifts, since the legs tire less quickly. The foamed polyurethane also stays flexible in low temperatures and provides reliable insulation down to -30°C. The antistatic, antibacterial and washable memory foam insole moulds to the foot and can be cleaned easily when needed.
The Otra meets the EN ISO 20345:2022 standard in the S5 SR CI FO specification. In practical terms, this means a puncture-resistant, corrosion-free steel toe cap and steel midsole protect the toes and sole area, the outsole is slip-resistant (SR) and cold-insulating (CI), and the boot remains resistant to fuel contact (FO). It is also resistant to chemicals, fertiliser, oil, grease, disinfectants, solvents and blood, making it suitable for demanding hygienic or chemically exposed environments.
This makes the Otra a strong choice for workers in agriculture, food processing, construction and cold storage facilities, where wet conditions, cold temperatures and contact with aggressive substances are part of daily work.
