Product information "PU Boot Billund S5"
The Billund PU boot is a rigger-style safety boot for anyone working on construction sites, in winter services, or in cold storage and food processing environments where secure footing and warm feet matter. Its modern, ergonomic shaft shape stands roughly 27 cm high and fits comfortably even on wider calves, while pull loops on the shaft and a heel pull tab make putting the boots on and taking them off straightforward.
The shaft and sole are made from polyurethane and a PU/TPU combination respectively, with foamed polyurethane in the shaft providing insulation down to -30°C. Inside, an antibacterial lining keeps the foot climate more pleasant, and the removable memory foam insole is additionally antistatic, antibacterial and washable. The outsole is slip-resistant and self-cleaning and stays easy to keep clean, which makes the boot low-maintenance even in dirty or wet conditions.
Certified to EN ISO 20345 in class S5 SR CI FO, the Billund delivers the full protection package of a waterproof safety boot: a corrosion-free steel toe cap and steel midsole guard against impact and penetration, SR stands for slip resistance even on the most slippery surfaces, CI covers cold insulation of the sole, and FO indicates resistance to fuel oil. The sole also withstands oils, greases, organic solvents and some chemicals, making the boot suitable for workshop and industrial settings.
This makes the Billund a strong choice for outdoor work in cold conditions, winter maintenance crews, construction and industrial trades, and any workplace where slippery, oily or chemically exposed floors are part of the daily routine.
