The PLANAM Cold Storage Vest from the Cold Storage/Freezing Facility collection is built for anyone working regularly in chilled or frozen environments who still needs full freedom of movement. As a sleeveless vest in navy with a red lining, it layers easily over or under other workwear, filling the gap where arms need to stay free.
The outer shell is made from 100% nylon, while underneath, padding of roughly 250 g/m² in 100% polyester works together with the polyester lining to form the insulating layer. This combination keeps the cold out without adding bulk, and the vest stays easy to care for day to day. A stretchy insert on the side keeps it comfortable during active work, and the elongated back gives extra coverage against draughts in the lower back area.
Thermal insulation is rated 0.381 (B), with thermal resistance in Class 3 and air permeability also in Class 3. This makes the vest suited to cool and cold indoor environments, where a higher insulation value means longer protection against the cold. The full-length, backed front zip closure stops cold air getting in through the opening, while the reflective stripe around the waist adds visibility on top.
Typical settings for this vest include manufacturing, warehousing and logistics, as well as cold storage, freezer facilities and food production, wherever staff spend extended periods in chilled spaces and need their hands and arms free, for example during picking or goods receiving.
