The PLANAM Gletscher Pilot Vest from the Outdoor collection is designed for anyone who works outside in cold conditions but still wants full freedom of movement in the arms. As a vest, it layers easily over or under a jacket, making it a flexible mid-layer for both transitional weather and winter. It comes in six colours and sizes S to XXXL, so teams can choose the right fit and colour for their needs.
The outer fabric is a blend of 60 % cotton and 40 % polyester, while the lining is made from faux fur with 100 % polyester. This combination gives the vest a sturdy outer shell that holds up to daily use on site or in the warehouse, while the fluffy faux fur lining at the collar and body keeps the wearer noticeably warm. In practice, that means a comfortable, cosy feel even during longer stints outdoors, without adding unnecessary bulk.
The vest is also well thought out in terms of storage: two front pockets with flaps and two chest pockets with flaps, plus two side pockets, offer plenty of room for tools and personal items, backed up by two pen pockets, a mobile phone pocket and an inner zip pocket for valuables. The elongated back keeps the lower back covered even when bending or crouching.
