The Riginos jacket is built for outdoor workers who need reliable visibility along with protection against wind, rain and cold. As multi-norm protective clothing it covers several hazard areas at once, clearly marked by the multi-norm emblems on the left upper arm. The fluorescent orange colour ensures strong visibility on construction sites, road works or anywhere high-vis clothing is required.
The polyester outer fabric with a carbon content is finished with welded seams, making the jacket windproof and waterproof while still letting moisture escape from the inside. With a breathability rating of 2,000 g/m²/24 h and a water column of 2,000 mm, it keeps the wearer dry even during long shifts outdoors. The warming cotton lining combined with the polyester wadding provides warmth in cold conditions without restricting movement. Practical details such as the adjustable cuffs with hook-and-loop fastening and knitted inner cuffs, the stowable and removable hood with drawcord adjustment, and the high protective collar make the jacket easy to adapt to changing weather. The robust YKK two-way front zip sits hidden beneath a storm flap with hook-and-loop closure, protecting it from scratches and adding an extra windproof seal.
Several protection standards give the jacket real practical value on site: EN ISO 20471 Class 3 marks the highest level of high-visibility protection, EN 343 Class 3/1/X confirms protection against rain and water penetration, EN ISO 14116 certifies limited flame-resistant properties on both the outer and inner fabric, EN 1149-5 provides antistatic properties that dissipate electrostatic charge, and EN 13034 Type PB [6] offers limited protection against liquid chemicals. Combined with the base standard EN ISO 13688 for protective clothing, this makes the jacket suitable for demanding environments with multiple hazards at once.
With two radio loops, a Napoleon pocket, two hip pockets and an inner pocket, the Riginos is well suited to road construction, utility work, emergency services and any job where high-visibility protection needs to be combined with weather and chemical resistance.
