The Kunibert multi-norm polo shirt is built for professionals facing more than one hazard at work: heat, flames, electrostatic charge and the thermal effects of an arc flash are all addressed by a single garment that combines several protective functions. This makes it a practical choice for anyone who would otherwise need to layer multiple protective pieces to achieve comparable coverage.
The outer fabric is a blend of modacrylic, cotton and a small proportion of carbon fibre, at a weight of around 210 g/m². This combination keeps the shirt feeling light and flexible despite its protective build, and the carbon content actively supports the antistatic performance during everyday wear. A modern, ergonomic fit with elasticated cuffs and a three-button placket keeps the polo comfortable to wear through a full shift.
On the protection side, the Kunibert polo covers a wide range: EN ISO 11612 confirms flame-resistant protection along with protection against convective and radiant heat, EN 1149-5 stands for the antistatic finish that dissipates electrostatic charge, and EN 61482-2 certifies protection against the thermal hazards of an arc flash. The EN 13758-2 rating adds reliable UV protection for the summer months with a UPF of 40+, while EN 17353 Type B3 and EN ISO 13688 cover the basic requirements for protective clothing. The multi-norm emblem on the left upper arm makes this combined certification visible at a glance.
This makes the shirt well suited to workers in environments with elevated thermal and electrical risk, such as electrical engineering, energy supply or industrial settings with arc flash exposure.
