The Helbert multi-norm polo shirt from Feldtmann is designed for anyone facing several hazards on the job at once: poor visibility, heat, static build-up and the thermal effects of an electric arc. Rather than layering several specialist garments, this one polo shirt covers all these requirements while still wearing and styling like an ordinary polo.
The outer fabric is a blend of modacrylic, cotton and a small proportion of carbon. This combination results in a fabric that, at around 210 g/m², feels comfortable against the skin, holds up well to daily wear, and gains its antistatic properties from the carbon content. A concealed button placket with three buttons and elasticated cuffs on the sleeves keep the fit clean and prevent buttons or edges from getting in the way during work.
The list of standards shows exactly what this shirt is built for: EN ISO 20471 Class 3 provides maximum visibility on roads and construction sites, EN ISO 11612 A1+A2 B1 C1 F1 confirms flame resistance against limited flame spread and convective heat, EN 1149-5 dissipates electrostatic charge, and EN 61482-2 with APC 1 confirms protection against the thermal hazards of an electric arc. EN 13758-2 additionally confirms a UV protection factor of UPF 40+, which matters especially outdoors during the summer months.
