The HW-WESTE82 hi-vis vest from the Mauser product line is a well-equipped vest designed for jobs that require carrying a lot of gear while staying clearly visible. Its standout feature is the thoughtful pocket layout: two patch pockets at the front with side access and press-stud flaps, several chest pockets with hook-and-loop flaps, and an inner pocket bag keep tools, phone or paperwork within easy reach yet securely closed. A concealed zip with an extra storm flap and a triangular tab covering the zip slider give the vest a neat, tidy look.
The vest is made from a cotton-polyester blend with a small proportion of antistatic fibres, at a solid fabric weight of around 350 g/m². The fabric carries a permanent flame-retardant and FC finish, built to hold up to demanding daily use. Details such as 5-thread safety-stitched seams, double-stitched pockets, bar-tacked seam ends and reinforced bar tacks at pocket openings and the zip end add the durability needed at the points that see the most wear.
The vest is certified to EN 1149, meaning the fabric dissipates electrostatic charge and reduces the risk of dangerous sparking. Combined with the reflective strips across the body and shoulders and the symbol patch on the chest flap, this makes the vest a good fit for working environments where both high visibility and protection against static build-up matter, such as industrial settings or tasks with an increased spark risk.
