The FLWE08 hi-vis vest from the Mauser line is designed for work environments where visibility needs to be paired with antistatic protection. The hook-and-loop fastening allows quick putting on and taking off, along with easy adjustment to different body types and layers underneath, making the vest just as practical over a winter jacket as over a light shirt.
The fabric blends polyester, modacrylic, aramid and flame-resistant viscose, with a small share of a special antistatic fibre. This mix results in a sturdy yet comfortable material suited to daily wear on the job, going well beyond the plain cotton or polyester typically found in standard hi-vis vests. Two reflective stripes, each 5 cm wide, run around the vest and provide strong visibility from multiple angles, in daylight as well as under artificial or headlight illumination.
The vest is certified to EN 1149, a standard covering the electrostatic behaviour of protective clothing. In practice, this means the fabric prevents an uncontrolled build-up of static charge, which matters in workplaces involving flammable dusts, gases or vapours. Classified as PPE Category II, the vest is intended for medium-risk applications where visibility alone is not enough and antistatic protection is also required.
This makes the FLWE08 a solid choice for workers in industry, logistics or on construction sites where electrostatic discharge poses a genuine hazard, for instance near chemicals, flammable materials or sensitive electronics. Available in orange and blue and in sizes S to 3XL, it can be matched to different team sizes and body types with ease.
