The LeiKaFlex® Cut arm guard protects the forearm and wrist in areas a standard glove cannot cover. At 45 cm long and cut in the wider "WIDE" fit, it comfortably accommodates larger arms and suits anyone working with sharp-edged or cutting tools who needs extra protection beyond the hand. The elastic cuff has no thumb hole, so it can be positioned freely, while the large hook-and-loop closure allows the sleeve to be adjusted individually and held securely in place.
It is made from a special fibre blend of HPPE, glass fibre, polyester and elastane. This combination keeps the sleeve soft, light and flexible without compromising on stability. In daily use that translates into a comfortable fit over extended periods, full freedom of movement in the arm, and no restrictive feel. The fabric is also breathable, which makes a real difference during longer tasks or in warm working conditions.
The Cut Level C rating, tested using the TDM method, indicates how well the material resists cuts from sharp edges or blades. In practice, this gives the wearer a reliable base level of protection in situations where cut injuries to the arm are a real risk, such as handling sheet metal, glass or sharp-edged components. Paired with matching cut-resistant gloves, it extends protection all the way up to the elbow.
