This hood is designed as a matching accessory for the NOMEX® parka 301836 and attaches directly to the parka via a zip fastener. Available in cornflower blue and sized as one size, it can still be adjusted to fit different head shapes thanks to the drawcord at the hem, keeping it snug in windy conditions without slipping.
The outer fabric is a sturdy twill weave made from 98% aramid and 2% other fibres, reinforced with a PU membrane and an FC finish, at a weight of around 245 g/sqm. This combination delivers a hard-wearing, weather-resistant outer layer that holds up on site or in demanding industrial settings. Inside, a plain-weave lining of 65% cotton and 35% polyester, roughly 220 g/sqm with an FR finish, keeps the hood comfortable against the head without compromising its protective properties.
As part of the NOMEX® collection, with an aramid content in the outer fabric and an FR-treated lining, this hood fits naturally into a multi-norm protection setup for trades exposed to heat or flame. Paired with the 301835 parka, it is a practical addition for anyone already wearing this collection who needs extra head and neck coverage in cold or wet weather.
