The Iona overtrousers suit anyone who needs to react fast when the weather turns, without carrying extra bulk around all day. They pack away into their own integrated pouch, making them easy to stash in a rucksack, toolbox or glovebox – ideal for commuters, tradespeople working outdoors, or anyone spending long hours in the open air.
The two-layer fabric is hardwearing, windproof and breathable at the same time, so the trousers stay comfortable even during extended wear. The fabric finish is highly water-repellent, with water visibly beading off the surface, and the seams are taped to keep moisture from getting in at the stitch lines. A fully elasticated waist adds comfort, while the popper-adjustable hems let you fine-tune the fit over boots or shoes. Two side pass-through pockets give access to clothing underneath without having to remove the trousers.
The fabric also carries a 40+ UPF rating, blocking 98% of UV rays, which makes these trousers a useful layer for sunny outdoor days as well as wet ones.
