The shell is made from coated Oxford polyester with a polyester lining, combining several useful properties in one piece. With a waterproof rating of 15,000 mm it holds up against heavy rain, while also being windproof and breathable thanks to a Ret value of 8.5, letting sweat escape rather than building up underneath. Taped seams keep moisture from getting in at the stitching, making the hood dependable for extended outdoor use, and at 200 g/m² it stays light and comfortable to wear.
Reflective details on the hood improve visibility in poor light, an important safety factor on roads and building sites alike.
