The RT31 Hi-Vis Rain Traffic Trousers were developed specifically for use by rail companies, making them a strong choice for anyone working trackside or on similar sites in wet conditions. The side leg zip allows for quick on and off, and the trousers also work as an overtrouser worn on top of existing workwear.
The fabric is fully waterproof with welded seams that reliably keep water out. On top of that, the surface finish is extremely water-repellent, so rain simply beads off rather than soaking in. A fully elasticated waistband keeps comfort high across long shifts, while two side pass-through pockets give access to clothing worn underneath.
Fitted with reflective tape, the trousers are certified to EN ISO 20471, tested after 50 washes, which means the visibility performance holds up over time. The fabric also carries a UPF 40+ rating and blocks 98% of UV rays, adding sun protection for outdoor work. In orange, the trousers additionally meet RIS 3279-TOM for the rail industry, are CE certified and UKCA marked.
This makes the RT31 a solid option for track workers, rail staff and anyone in road and civil engineering who needs reliable rain protection combined with high visibility. Available in sizes S to 3XL.
