The Hi-Vis Classic Contrast Rain Jacket from the 190T Essentials collection is built for anyone who works outdoors in wet conditions and needs to stay visible. The two-tone design with a roll-away hood gives it a sleeker look than typical hi-vis jackets, without compromising on protection or function.
The fabric is treated with PFAS-free Texpel™ Splash Eco finishing, so water beads off the surface instead of soaking in. Combined with the taped seams, this keeps the jacket watertight even in sustained rain. To stop heat building up underneath, the vented back yoke and additional eyelets allow air to circulate. Drawcords at the hood and hem, plus the inner elasticated cuff, let you adjust the fit so the jacket stays secure even in windy conditions or while on the move. Two roomy lower pockets give you space to store tools or personal items.
Protection here goes beyond good intentions: the jacket is certified to EN ISO 20471, tested to remain compliant after 25 washes, which means the visibility performance holds up over time in daily use. Reflective tape and contrast panelling help hide visible dirt and keep the wearer noticeable in poor light. The fabric also carries a UPF 40+ rating, blocking 98% of UV rays, useful for anyone working outside in strong sun. The PVC coating is REACH compliant, and the jacket is CE certified and UKCA marked.
