The SHOWA Nsk 24 EBT is a long chemical-resistant glove made of nitrile, designed for work where hands and forearms come into contact with oils, acids or solvents. At around 35.5 cm long, it extends well beyond the wrist, giving far more coverage than a standard short disposable glove. Available in sizes 8 to 11, it can be matched to different hand sizes across a team.
The glove is fully coated with a double layer of nitrile at roughly 1.25 mm thickness, lined with a cotton support. This combination provides a solid base level of protection while keeping wear comfortable, as the cotton lining absorbs sweat and helps maintain a pleasant feel even over longer shifts. The fully textured surface noticeably improves grip, which matters most when hands are wet, oily or greasy, often the exact moment safe handling depends on it.
The standards EN 388:2016+A1:2018, EN ISO 374-1:2016+A1:2018 and EN ISO 374-5:2016 confirm mechanical protection along with resistance to chemicals and micro-organisms. In practice this means reliable protection against a broad range of solvents, oils and acids, plus resistance to hydrocarbons. The glove is also impermeable, making it suitable for consistently wet or oily working conditions, and its food-grade rating under ISO 18889:2019 (G2) allows use in settings involving direct food contact.
