Product information "Elastic Y-Lanyard with Webbing Fall Arrester Yellow"
The FP52 is a two-leg lanyard for fall protection, designed for work at height where freedom of movement matters just as much as safety. Fitted with a band shock absorber, an automatic karabiner and two scaffold hooks, it can be clipped to a range of anchor points. The stretched length including the karabiner is 180 cm.
The elastic webbing is the key benefit for daily use: it retracts automatically when not under load, cutting down the risk of loose straps hanging low, causing trips or snagging on scaffolding. At the same time, the webbing is built for high breaking strength, giving it the durability needed for regular site work. The scaffold hooks have a 52 mm opening and the karabiner a 19 mm opening, making it easy to attach to different structures.
As personal protective equipment against falls, the FP52 is CE certified and UKCA marked, with a maximum working load of 100 kg. Service life is stated as 10 years from the date of manufacture shown on the product label, giving a clear basis for planning inspection and replacement.
This makes the lanyard suitable for any work carried out on scaffolding or in similar situations at height, such as scaffolding work, general construction, or maintenance on facades and roofs.
