The FP90 is a rope-guided fall arrest device designed for work at height, such as on scaffolding, roofs or masts. Part of the lanyard collection, it connects the safety harness to the anchor point and lets the user move freely along the 10m rope without having to re-clip at every step.
At its core is a high-quality kernmantle rope with a 12mm diameter, paired with a non-openable rope grab. This grab is fitted with a screw-lock karabiner made of alloy steel and an integrated energy absorber, while a second karabiner with a 19mm gate opening sits at the other end of the rope for attachment to the harness. This construction makes the system dependable for daily use on site, and the shock absorber helps reduce the forces involved in the event of a fall.
The maximum load capacity is 100kg, and the device is CE certified for professional use in fall protection. Its service life is stated as 10 years from the date of manufacture shown on the product label, making it easy to track when replacement is due.
