This high vis sweatshirt jacket from Blaklader is cut specifically for women and designed for anyone working on construction sites, in road works or on the move as a driver who needs to stay visible without sacrificing comfort. The regular fit, detachable hood and high collar with zip let it adapt to changing weather and working conditions.
The fabric is a piqué fleece made from 100% polyester at 240 g/m², brushed on one side for a soft feel against the skin. In everyday wear that means a warm yet not bulky feel, similar to a classic sweatshirt, combined with the toughness that hi-vis workwear needs. Because it can withstand industrial washing to EN ISO 15797, the jacket suits businesses with professional laundry routines and keeps performing wash after wash.
Visibility is certified to EN ISO 20471, class 2 in sizes XS and S and class 3 in sizes M to XXXL, the highest hi-vis class, meaning a larger area of background material and reflective tape that keeps you noticeable in poor light or near traffic. The 50 mm wide reflective stripes run across the body, sleeves and shoulders in a segmented layout that doesn't restrict movement. The fabric is also certified to Oeko-Tex Standard 100, confirming it has been tested for harmful substances.
With zipped front pockets, a zipped chest pocket with D-ring, and ribbed cuffs and hem, the jacket is built for tradeswomen, construction workers and drivers who want safety and comfort in one garment. A matching men's version is also available as style 3573.
