The Nitras GUNOVA chemical-protection apron shields clothing and skin during work with chemical substances and liquids where a standard work coat falls short. Measuring 80 x 100 cm, it covers the torso generously and suits tasks in food processing as well as cleaning, industrial chemical work, or craft production, wherever contact with liquids or aggressive substances is part of the daily routine.
The apron is cut from tough, 0.5 mm thick PVC film with a knitted backing. This construction holds up well to everyday wear while staying flexible enough for comfortable wear throughout a shift. Reinforced, heat-sealed plastic eyelets together with neck and side straps made from polyester twill tape keep the apron securely in place and support long-term use, even with frequent putting on and taking off.
Classified as PPE risk category III and certified to Type PB [3] and Type PB [4], the apron is designed to protect against limited splash exposure and liquid spray from chemicals. In practical terms, this means it can be worn wherever splashes or brief contact with chemical substances are a realistic risk, without requiring a full chemical protection suit. Since the material is also suitable for food contact, the apron can additionally be used in settings with strict hygiene requirements.
This makes the GUNOVA a fitting choice for staff in butcheries, commercial kitchens, cleaning services, and chemical or pharmaceutical production, anywhere clothing and skin need reliable protection from liquids and chemical exposure.
