The Calais pilot jacket is built for anyone working outdoors in wind and rain who still wants to stay dry and warm. As part of inba's classic rainwear collection, it covers the full range of wet-weather conditions, making it just as suitable for uniform workwear programmes as for private customers looking for a dependable outdoor jacket.
The fabric is highly water-repellent and breathable at the same time, so rain beads off the surface while moisture from inside can still escape. The fleece lining and padded sleeves keep the jacket warm even in cooler conditions, without adding bulk or stiffness. The seams are taped, which stops water getting in at the stitch lines and keeps the jacket properly waterproof even in heavy, sustained rain.
The details are just as well thought through: the hood rolls into the collar and can be removed or stowed away when not needed, and a storm flap at the front shields the zip from wind and wet. Three pockets, including a concealed phone pocket and a secure inner pocket, provide plenty of storage for the working day, while the hook-and-loop cuff fastening and half-elasticated waist keep the fit snug and comfortable. The jacket is CE certified and its branding access makes it a strong option for corporate design and uniform company wear.
