The 4PROTECT® Hi-Vis Softshell Hood is the matching accessory for anyone who works outdoors in wind and rain and wants their headwear firmly attached to their jacket rather than loose. It is designed to match the 4PROTECT® Hi-Vis Softshell Jacket TYLER (item no. 3472 and 3477) and zips directly onto the jacket via an original YCC nylon zipper, so it stays in place instead of getting lost.
The outer material is a hard-wearing ripstop softshell fabric that is laminated on the outside, making it water-repellent, while the soft fleece lining on the inside keeps the hood comfortable against the skin. An elastic drawcord with a stopper keeps the hood securely in place even in wind and movement, without slipping off.
As an accessory item, the hood carries no PSA/PPE category of its own, but its bright yellow colour adds extra visibility on site and complements the hi-vis character of the TYLER jacket, without meeting a protection standard itself.
This makes the hood a practical choice across all the sectors where the TYLER jacket is used: construction and road building, public authorities and organisations, waste management, vehicle and aircraft manufacturing, fire services, forestry, garden and agricultural work, skilled trades, as well as transport, logistics and warehousing.
