The NEWARK hi-vis weatherproof blouson from 4PROTECT is built for anyone working outdoors in poor weather and reduced visibility. It combines high-visibility protection with genuine weather protection, making it more than a standard warning jacket: designed to perform reliably in wind, rain and cold without compromising on safety. Available in 10 sizes from 3XL to XXL, it fits a wide range of wearers.
The outer fabric is 100% polyester with a PTFE membrane that is both windproof and waterproof, while the lining and padding are also made from 100% polyester. In practice, this means the blouson keeps wind and rain out while staying light to wear and allowing full freedom of movement. Anyone working outdoors in changeable conditions benefits from a garment that does not soak through at the first shower.
The NEWARK covers several standards when it comes to protection. EN ISO 13688:2013 sets out the general requirements for protective clothing. EN ISO 20471 governs high-visibility protection through signal colour and reflective elements: depending on size, the blouson meets warning protection class 2 (sizes XS and S) or class 3 (sizes M to 6XL), the higher visibility standard covering most sizes. EN 343:2019 confirms its rain protection, while EN 14058:2017 relates to garments providing protection in cool environmental conditions. Classified under PSA category II, the blouson protects against moderate risks from weather exposure and poor visibility.
This makes the NEWARK suitable for any field where work continues regardless of wind and weather and visibility is essential: construction and road construction, public authorities and organisations, waste management, vehicle and aircraft manufacturing, forestry, garden and agricultural work, skilled trades, as well as transport, logistics and warehousing.
