The 4PROTECT® OTTAWA is a multi-norm weather protection jacket built for professionals who face harsh conditions and multiple hazard types at the same time. As Category III PPE, it is designed for workers who need a reliable combination of weather protection and complex hazard protection, for example on construction sites or in the chemical and energy sectors. Available in navy in sizes S to 3XL, it is made to stay comfortable even during long shifts.
The outer fabric, a blend of modacrylic and cotton, gives the jacket a tough yet comfortable surface, while the aramid and viscose lining adds extra stability and helps regulate the microclimate inside the jacket. This combination of materials makes the OTTAWA resistant to demanding daily use without feeling stiff or overly heavy. The integrated 3M Scotchlite™ reflective material is flame-retardant and improves visibility without compromising the jacket's protective performance.
The OTTAWA covers an unusually wide range of standards. EN ISO 11612 provides protection against heat and flames, EN ISO 11611 covers welding and related processes, EN 13034 protects against contact with certain chemicals, and IEC 61482-2 certifies protection against the thermal effects of an electric arc flash. EN 1149-5 confirms electrostatic dissipative properties that help prevent dangerous static build-up. EN 343 adds certified protection against wind and rain, with a wind- and waterproof construction combined with a controlled water vapour resistance. EN ISO 13688, the base standard for protective clothing, completes the certification package.
This makes the OTTAWA suitable for environments where several hazards can occur at once: construction and road construction, the chemical and electrical industries, the energy sector including nuclear power plant environments, waste management, vehicle and aircraft manufacturing, foundry work, skilled trades, mechanical engineering, as well as transport, logistics and warehousing.
