The 4PROTECT® EDMONTON multi-norm hi-vis weatherproof jacket is built for professionals who face more than one hazard at a time. Rather than covering a single risk, it combines several protective functions in one garment, making it a practical choice for anyone working in environments where heat, flame, chemical exposure and electrostatic charge can all be present.
The outer fabric, a blend of modacrylic and cotton, provides a tough, flame-resistant base layer, while the aramid and viscose lining adds further protection and keeps the jacket comfortable to wear over longer shifts. The reflective trim, 3M Scotchlite™ 8935, is itself flame-resistant, so visibility is maintained even under thermal stress. Together, these materials create a durable garment that keeps performing under demanding working conditions.
EDMONTON is certified to a wide range of standards, covering a broad spectrum of hazards: it protects against heat and flame (EN ISO 11612), is approved as welding protective clothing (EN ISO 11611), guards against liquid chemicals (EN 13034), and shields against the thermal effects of an electric arc flash (IEC 61482-2). Antistatic properties under EN 1149-5 reduce the risk of electrostatic discharge, hi-vis class 3 under EN ISO 20471 ensures maximum visibility, and EN 343 confirms protection against wind and rain. As PSA category III equipment, it is designed to protect against risks that can cause irreversible harm.
This makes the EDMONTON well suited to work in the chemical industry, electrical industry, energy sector including nuclear power plants, waste management, construction and road construction, skilled trades, climate engineering and mechanical engineering – anywhere multiple hazards can occur at once.
