The teXXor® TAUNUS is a work glove made from split cowhide leather, built for anyone tackling tough, hands-on tasks that demand dependable protection. The green/red striped cotton drill and rubberised cuff keep the glove securely in place on the wrist, so it stays put even during extended wear. Marketed as a TOP-quality product, it suits professional users as well as private users with regular hands-on work.
The glove is made from carefully selected split cowhide leather with a palm thickness of around 1.20 mm – sturdy enough for rough handling, yet still flexible thanks to the quality of the leather chosen. The light, soft lining makes a real difference to comfort: hands tire less quickly, and the glove remains pleasant to wear over longer periods without feeling stiff.
The TAUNUS meets the basic requirements for protective gloves under EN ISO 21420:2020 and is additionally tested against mechanical risks under EN 388:2016+A1:2018, covering hazards such as abrasion, cuts, tearing and puncture. As PPE Category II, it offers protection for tasks with a medium level of risk, where hands are regularly exposed to rough or sharp-edged materials.
This makes the glove suitable for a wide range of demanding jobs: in trades and construction, packaging work, warehousing, logistics and transport, assembly work, locksmith and workshop environments, as well as agriculture, forestry and horticulture.
