The teXXor® HÖRNUM rain trousers are designed for anyone working outdoors in all weather and needing gear they can rely on. Available in navy, these bib-style trousers are fully waterproof and suit both trade professionals and private users looking for a dependable rain trouser.
The outer material is 100% polyester with a polyurethane coating, weighing around 190 g/m². This coating keeps moisture from soaking through the fabric, and combined with the double-taped seams, it keeps the trousers dry even in prolonged rain. The elastic waistband offers a comfortable fit with plenty of freedom of movement, while the leg cuffs can be adjusted individually via snap fasteners, for example to fit over boots or safety footwear.
In terms of protection, the trousers meet EN ISO 13688:2013 + A1:2021, which sets out general requirements for protective clothing, as well as EN 343:2019, which specifically assesses protection against rain and water vapour permeability. In practice, this means reliable protection against wet conditions when working outdoors, classified under PPE Category I for protective clothing against minimal risks.
This makes the HÖRNUM suitable for construction and road construction work, public authorities and organisations, waste management companies, forestry, garden and agricultural work, landscaping, trades, and transport, logistics and warehousing – anywhere weather protection is part of the job.
