The teXXor® Canvas dungarees AMAZONAS are built for anyone who needs hard-wearing workwear they can rely on every day. The high-cut bib, adjustable fit and extensive size range from 24 to 110 allow the trousers to be tailored to different body types and working conditions, while the contrast-coloured waistband with reflective piping adds a touch of visibility on site.
The outer fabric is a heavyweight 320 g/m² T/C panama canvas that combines the shape retention of polyester with the comfort of cotton against the skin. Its water-, oil- and dirt-repellent surface finish means the trousers keep performing even in messy working conditions, resisting soaking through or staining as quickly as untreated fabric would. The knee-pad pockets along with the leg and seat pockets are reinforced with genuine CORDURA® fabric, a material known for its resistance to abrasion and tearing, extending the working life of the trousers exactly where daily wear takes its toll.
These dungarees meet EN ISO 13688:2013, the general baseline standard for protective clothing, as well as EN 14404:2004+A1:2010, which covers knee protection for kneeling work. Fitted with the matching, certified knee pads available separately (item 8400), the knee-pad pockets can be upgraded to provide extra protection for tasks that involve frequent kneeling. The trousers fall under PPE category I.
Thanks to their rugged construction, the AMAZONAS dungarees suit a wide range of industries, from construction and road building to forestry, gardening and agriculture, vehicle and machine manufacturing, the electrical industry, waste management, logistics and warehousing.
