The welder's protective trousers from Qualitex's "robust" line are designed for anyone whose daily work involves flying sparks. They are aimed at welders and metalworkers who need protective clothing they can rely on, without sacrificing freedom of movement or practical features. A waistband with seven belt loops and an elasticated side section ensures a secure fit even during long shifts.
Made from 100% cotton with a fabric weight of 390 g/m², the trousers feel sturdy yet comfortable against the skin, exactly what you would expect from durable workwear. According to the manufacturer, the fabric finish remains effective even after around 50 wash cycles, pointing to a long service life in daily industrial use. The contrasting red stitching is not just a visual detail but a sign of the careful construction behind the whole garment.
As certified PSA, the trousers are flame-retardant, preventing the fabric from continuing to burn on contact with sparks. The pockets are constructed so that sparks cannot fly into them, a genuine safety advantage when working overhead or close to spark sources.
