The Charmes hi-vis stretch bib-and-brace trousers are made for anyone working on construction sites, in road building or traffic safety who needs to stay visible while moving freely. The elastic 4-way stretch fabric flexes with the body when bending, kneeling or climbing, making it noticeably more comfortable than stiff, traditional hi-vis workwear.
The outer fabric is 100% polyester at around 210 g/m², breathable and finished with a water-repellent coating. In practice, this means light rain beads off the surface while moisture from the inside can escape, keeping the wearer more comfortable during physical work. Pre-shaped knees, ventilation openings with zips, contrast panels at dirt-prone areas and reinforcements at high-wear points are built for tough daily use and add to the garment's durability. Concealed zips also prevent scratches, and the leg openings adjust via press studs to suit different footwear.
The trousers meet EN ISO 20471 class 2 for high-visibility clothing, meaning the fluorescent colour and segmented reflective tape provide strong visibility in daylight and under headlights. EN 13758-2 confirms a UV protection factor of UPF 40+, shielding the skin during outdoor work, while EN ISO 13688 covers the general requirements for protective clothing.
With two side pockets, a bib pocket, a thigh pocket, two zipped back pockets, a ruler pocket and a two-part tool pocket, the Charmes offers generous storage for tools and small items, making it well suited to road builders, civil engineering crews and anyone who needs to stay visible and well equipped on site.
