Product information "Ultra Welder Protection Glove with Gauntlet"
The Ultra welding protection glove with gauntlet is designed for professional welders who need dependable protection for both hand and forearm. The extended gauntlet cuff also covers the wrist, guarding against sparks and heat from awkward angles during overhead or out-of-position welding.
The glove is made from full-grain leather overlaid with split leather, a combination that noticeably improves resistance to burn-through compared to plain leather alone. A fleece lining adds protection against both heat and cold, keeping the glove comfortable to wear during longer shifts. Seams are stitched with aramid thread, which withstands high temperatures and keeps the glove durable even under heavy daily use. Reinforcements at the palm, thumb and finger areas take the brunt of the wear in exactly the spots where welding gloves fail first.
The glove is certified to EN 12477 Type A, the standard for welding gloves with higher requirements for mechanical strength and heat resistance. Type A offers a higher protection level than Type B, at the cost of some dexterity — a trade-off that makes sense for demanding welding tasks where protection matters more than fine manual control. CE certification confirms compliance with the applicable safety requirements.
This makes the A540 a solid choice for classic welding environments such as metalworking, structural steel fabrication and industrial production, wherever hands and forearms face sustained exposure to heat, sparks and mechanical stress.
