The Akkrum long-sleeve shirt is built for anyone who needs to stay visible on the job through the summer months without overheating. It suits workers in road construction, logistics or on building sites, where hi-vis gear is mandatory but a full vest over regular clothing quickly becomes uncomfortable in the heat. With a V-neck and ribbed cuffs, the shirt fits close to the body and works equally well layered under a jacket or worn on its own.
The outer fabric is made from recycled polyester and kept deliberately light at around 150 g/m². In daily wear that translates into a breathable, airy feel: moisture is pulled away from the skin, which helps keep things drier during physical work out in the sun. The reflective stripes are heat-sealed onto the fabric, so they stay firmly bonded even after repeated washing, and the shirt itself can be washed up to 25 times at 40°C.
For summer use, the shirt offers a UPF 40+ rating that adds extra protection against strong sun exposure, tested to EN 13758-2. It also meets EN 20471 class 2 for high-visibility workwear, while EN ISO 13688 confirms it satisfies the general baseline requirements for protective clothing. In Germany, purchase costs can be subsidised through the BG BAU scheme, making it easier for companies to equip their teams.
