The Leobert multi-norm long-sleeve shirt is built for anyone working across changing sites or plants where several hazards overlap at once: visibility on the road, exposure to open flame, electrostatic build-up and the thermal risk of an arc flash often occur in the very same working environment. Rather than combining several specialist garments, this one long-sleeve shirt covers all of these requirements, marked accordingly with multi-norm emblems on the left upper arm.
The outer fabric is a blend of modacrylic, cotton and a small amount of carbon, weighing around 210 g/m². This combination results in a fabric that, despite its protective functions, feels comfortable against the skin and doesn't feel stiff or bulky. Elasticated cuffs at the neck and sleeves help keep the shirt fitted during movement, whether reaching, bending or working overhead.
On the protection side, the shirt meets several standards at once: EN ISO 20471 Class 3 provides the highest level of high-visibility protection, important for work near moving traffic or in poor light. EN ISO 11612 confirms protection against heat and flame, while EN 1149-5 covers the antistatic finish required in certain working environments to prevent hazardous electrostatic discharge. EN 61482-2 verifies protection against the thermal effects of an arc flash, a key criterion for electrical work. The fabric also delivers a UV protection factor of UPF 40+ under EN 13758-2, guarding against strong sun exposure during the summer months. General requirements for protective clothing under EN ISO 13688 are met as well.
This makes the shirt well suited to road construction, civil engineering and energy supply work, or any setting where high-visibility, flame resistance and arc flash protection are all needed together. Purchase costs can be subsidised through Germany's BG BAU scheme, making the switch to this multi-norm solution easier for employers.
