The Ronse twill work trousers are built for anyone working outdoors in summer who still wants reliable protection from the sun. With a UPF 40+ rating, they're a smart choice for trades with long hours of sun exposure, such as construction, landscaping or logistics. Available in sizes 42 to 64, they offer a fit for a wide range of body types.
The outer fabric, a blend of 65% polyester and 35% cotton at around 245 g/m², makes for a hard-wearing trouser that still feels comfortable through a full shift, holding its shape even under frequent use on site or in the workshop. Triple-stitched seams reinforce high-stress areas, while elastic inserts in the waistband add freedom of movement when bending or kneeling. The pre-hemmed leg can be extended by 3 cm without sewing, a handy option when the trousers need to be adjusted to different leg lengths.
A standout feature is the hook-and-loop knee-pad pockets, certified to EN 14404:2004+A1:2010 Type 2, Performance Level 1, when used with the matching Art. 4303 Classic knee pad. In practice, this means real relief for the knees during kneeling work, which makes a noticeable difference for tilers, flooring installers or anyone in dry lining and interior finishing. The EN 13758-2 standard also confirms the fabric's UV protection under a recognised test method.
For everyday use on site, the trousers also come with two side pockets, a thigh pocket with pen slots, two back pockets (one with a flap), and a dedicated ruler pocket, keeping tools within reach without restricting movement.
