Product information "Standard Asbestos Plate Bag, 320x125x30cm"
The standard asbestos plate bag measuring 320 x 125 x 30 cm is built for disposing of asbestos-containing plates and boards, making it a practical choice for demolition and remediation companies that need to pack larger volumes of plate material safely and in line with recognised standards. Its closed base keeps fibres from escaping during transport, while the asbestos-specific printing clearly marks the contents, which matters both for site inspections and downstream disposal.
The bag is made from coated PP fabric, a tough polypropylene weave with an added coating. In practice, this means the material holds up well against moisture and the wear and tear of filling, stacking and moving loaded bags, without tearing easily or soaking through. Four lifting loops allow the bag to be raised safely by crane or forklift, which makes handling heavy, filled big bags considerably easier on site.
The bag meets DIN EN ISO 21898, the standard covering flexible intermediate bulk containers (FIBC) for transport and storage, ensuring a consistent quality benchmark. With a safe working load of 1,500 kg and a 5:1 safety factor against breaking load, the bag is designed to offer a clear margin above its actual breaking point even when fully loaded.
Sold as bulk goods with a minimum order of 50 units, this plate bag suits demolition contractors, licensed waste disposal firms and remediation companies that regularly need to package and transport larger quantities of asbestos-containing plates in a compliant way.
