Product information "Big Bag for Asbestos Transparent SWL 1,000 KG"
This bigbag is purpose-built for the disposal of asbestos-containing waste and is aimed at companies working in demolition, renovation, or hazardous material removal. Measuring 90 x 90 x 110 cm with a safe working load of SWL 1,000 kg, it offers enough capacity and load capacity for larger volumes while remaining manageable on site.
The bag is made from coated PP fabric, which withstands mechanical stress and moisture well. Two sides are made of transparent PP fabric, allowing the contents to be checked at a glance without opening the bag – a practical feature for documentation and safe handling of hazardous waste. The closed bottom prevents fine dust or loose fibres from escaping, while four lifting loops allow safe lifting by crane or forklift. A drawstring skirt top ensures the bag can be securely closed once filled.
The DIN EN ISO 21898 standard sets requirements for flexible intermediate bulk containers (FIBC), confirming that the bag meets its stated load ratings. With a safety factor of 5:1 against breaking load, it provides a substantial margin above the rated capacity, adding extra security when transporting heavy or bulky waste.
The product is sold as bulk packaging with a minimum order quantity of 120 pieces, making it well suited for waste disposal specialists, demolition contractors, and remediation firms that regularly need to pack and transport larger quantities of asbestos-containing material in compliance with safety requirements.
