The Shell Rain Jacket from the Portwest Extreme™ collection is built for anyone who works outdoors in all weather and still wants a jacket that looks and fits well. Its ergonomic cut with angled sleeves and a slim silhouette makes it just as suitable for the job site as for everyday wear off duty. Underarm ventilation zips, storm cuffs and pre-shaped elbows give plenty of freedom of movement for active outdoor work.
The 3-layer fabric is hard-wearing, windproof and breathable at the same time, letting moisture escape from the inside while rain beads off the outer surface. The environmentally conscious finish keeps the fabric reliably water-repellent without making the jacket feel heavy or stiff. Bar tacks at every stress point and easy-grip zip pullers on all fastenings make the jacket practical to use, even in gloves or in a hurry.
Waterproofing and breathability come from welded and taped seams that stop water getting in, so the jacket keeps its promise in genuinely wet conditions. The adjustable drawcord hood, chin guard and drawcord hem let you fine-tune the fit against wind and rain, while the hook-and-loop cuff tabs keep sleeves securely closed. The jacket is CE certified and UKCA marked.
With five pockets, including a zipped chest pocket and zipped hand pockets, there's plenty of room for tools, a phone or personal items. The curved back hem gives extra coverage when bending or crouching. This makes the jacket a solid choice for construction, field work and any job with changeable weather, as well as for hiking and other outdoor activities in free time.
