The S5 Safety Hip Wader is the tall version of our waterproof safety boot, designed for work in and around water where feet and legs need to stay completely dry. Thanks to its hip-high leg, it covers situations where standard safety shoes or short boots fall short, without giving up the protection level of certified safety footwear.
The boot is fully waterproof, keeping feet dry even during prolonged contact with water. The outsole is also resistant to fuel and oil, making it easier to work on dirty or greasy surfaces and extending the sole's service life. Despite its rugged build, the boot is lightweight, which makes standing or walking for extended periods more comfortable.
Protection is at the core of this design: a steel toe cap shields the toes from impact and compression, while a steel midsole guards the sole of the foot against sharp objects underfoot. The footwear is antistatic and features an energy-absorbing heel area that cushions impact with each step. A slip-resistant outsole adds secure footing on wet or uneven ground. The boot is CE certified to safety class S5.
This makes the FW71 wader well suited to civil engineering, agriculture, water management and construction sites with constant wet conditions, wherever reliable foot protection and dryness both matter.
